His massive size and scary form frighten many people, but he is in fact a proper and reasonable researcher. He is careful about the usage and introduction of Warp, something that doesn't exist in this era, and never exposes these secrets to people of this era.
By the way, "Warp Drive" is only a title, used in his era to praise "One Who Surpasses Light", and it isn't his true name. He doesn't tell his true name, perhaps because his name itself has some special meaning that could alter the future.
