This card works well with cards that allow you to choose which cards go in the drop zone, as it has an effect that states if you have a copy of it in the drop zone while it is your vanguard, then it gains +3000 during your turn. You want to run at least 2 in your Granblue deck.
- Have your starting vanguard be Captain Nightkid. This card moves to the rear guard when you ride another Granblue on top of it. Once you have taken at least one damage, you can activate its counter blast and move into the soul, which let's you look at the top 10 cards of your deck and pick one to go to the drop zone.
- Chappie the Ghostie also works well with this card. When Chappie the Ghostie is placed on the guardian circle, you can look through your deck for a card and put it in the drop zone.
- Any card that mills cards off the top of your deck works well too, but then you're running it to chance that one will fall in the drop zone and you need to be careful that you don't deck out.
- Since Captain Nightmist can come back to the rear guard if you ever need another intercepter without using a card in your hand, you can use him.
Remember that his +3000 power boost, if you have a copy of it in the drop zone, only activates on the vanguard circle.
