The best combo to use with this card is by calling Machining Mantis with Machining Worker Ant from the soul using this cards ability. You would have +14000 Power (24000 power before Boost/Drive) and an extra 12000 Power (before Boost) to get an EXTRA attack with. That would easily drive the Vanguard attack to 30k to 34k power with Stealth Millipede and 20k Power when Boosting with an 8k Vanilla for your rear guard.

  • Machining Armor Beetle can add Machinings in the rearguard to the soul for this card's ability. It is best to use it with Machining Worker Ant that has been called with this card's ability.
  • If you call two Machining Mantis cards, you can have an extra 10k Sheild and a hefty bonus to the attack. While you will not get more then One attack with your Vanguard (unless you use stand triggers), you will gain an extra sheild boost that might save you during your next turn. AND During your next turn, if you did not need to use your two Machining Mantis cards, you will have two 9k Rear Guard units that can attack, without using cards in your hand. You maintain Card Advantage AND gain a defensive bonus.
  • Machining Armor Beetle is a good choice to call with this card, you can also call Worker Ant with Stag Beetle's skill to stand Armor Beetle, and send Worker Ant to the soul for Armor Beetle's skill. But it is bad to call if you call it with Machining Little Bee.
  • Also good to have this unit boosted by Megacolony Battler B or Machining Caucasusto apply pressure or to prevent another unit from your opponents side from standing.
  • Ride this card over Spark Hercules and use it's skill to call it and Little Bee, then use the latter's effect to stand and power up the former.
  • This card really helps when setting up Carapace Strange Deity, Machining Destroyer, as it'll call 2 units before before Striding, making it much easier to fulfill the 4 Machining rearguard condition to paralyze the opponent's Vangaurd.
    • You can also call one of those rearguards behind your Machining Destroyer, while it'll be rested and unable to boost, your will already attack for 25000 power alone so not having it boosted won't affect much.
