This card is an early version of Granblue's superior ride. At the cost of putting a Knight Spirit and a Samurai Spirit from your rear guard circle you may superior ride this card from your drop zone. But, this card has no further effects other than superior ride. This card may be useful if you are going to utilize King of Demonic Seas, Basskirk's megablast effect earlier. You may also take the great benefit of this card's superior ride effect if you get the first turn. If you get the first turn, if you are able to superior ride this card from drop zone by your next turn, you will have a good hand advantage and also great power in your vanguard circle for early game. Remember, this condition means you have a grade 3 as your vanguard while your opponent still with their grade 1.
it should be noted that if your opponent is grade lock at 1 than superior ride is possible to get him at grade 1 and its take a grade 2 in order to surperior ride. be warn superior riding for granblue should be consider only useful if your gradelock, for two key reason. you drop a 10k sheild and a revivable 7k unit to get that g3 early.
You can also perform an early break ride if you need by continuously riding till you get the grade 3 unit Lord of the Seven Seas, Nightmist, then in the turn you ride this unit you could then superior ride Spirit Exceed. Spirit Exceed's ability can also superior ride on top of grade 3s. It is only advisable to superior breakride using these 2 cards early if you got your opponent to 4-5 damage the turn you ride Lord of the Seven Seas, Nigtmist.
