Reunion! Foo Fighter! is the thirty-first chapter of the Cardfight!! Vanguard Manga, first published in Kerokero Ace magazine and later collected in Volume 7.
This chapter was adapted into episode 32 of the Cardfight!! Vanguard V Series anime.
Plot[]
After Misaki gives him advice on his deck, Naoki remarks to Aichi that she really is a nice person after all. He begins to comment that Kourin, by comparison, really is scary, but just then Kourin herself approaches to let them know that the Cardfight Club has been officially recognized by the school. She suggests the club participate in an event - an intramural match with another school's cardfight club.
A match is organized with Fukuhara High School, and, when they arrive there, Aichi and the others are shocked to be greeted by Foo Fighter's Tetsu Shinjou. Tetsu explains that he is the coach of Fukuhara's Vanguard club, and introduces its members, which include Ren and Asaka. He tells them that Foo Fighter as they knew it barely exists anymore, and that he is pursuing new tactics in his research on PSY Qualia.
Suddenly, Suiko Tatsunagi of Ultra Rare appears, instantly gravitating towards Aichi and proclaiming how cute he is before Kourin pushes her away. She identifies Suiko as her older sister "in name only". When Tetsu confirms she is aiding in his research, Aichi tries to ask more, but Naoki is eager to get on with the fights that they came for.
Asaka asks to fight Aichi, wanting to test the strength of the one who defeated Ren during the Asia Circuit. Suiko wonders if Asaka will be able to trigger Aichi's PSY Qualia, but he proves himself more than able to defeat her without it, and Tetsu wonders if the ability has vanished altogether.
Naoki is excited to fight next, and Suiko offers to be his opponent.
