"Shion's Pride" is the 7th episode of the Cardfight!! Vanguard G and the 203rd of the Cardfight!! Vanguard Anime.
Plot[]
During a cleaning session, Tokoha tells both Chrono and Shion about the Vanguard Quiz Tournament organized by the Dragon Empire Branch, in which both of them enter the tournament, with the intention to beat each other.
The tournament comprises of three sections; buzzer quiz, where they need to guess the name of the card shown in the screen; the scavenger quiz, where they need to borrow things from the audience according to the request; and the last one is a true or false quiz (which is more of an obstacle course rather than a quiz).
Shion is determined to win the tournament, after he met a boy that have given up in vanguard. He promises to the boy that if you never give up, you can win.
The tournament concludes when Shion wins the obstacle course with Chrono only a few cm behind him.
