No. Skull Dragon's revival effect can only be activated during the Main Phase.

Nightmist's Revival ability as well. In fact, all of Granblue's revival abilities thus far can only be activated during the Main Phase.

Thanatos was revealed after I posted that. But yeah, so far he and Negromarl (if you call Negromarl with Thanatos' effect) are the only Granblues that can bring something back during the Battle Phase.

dun understand the practical usage of granblue's skills like resummoning cards.....u call this card,switch with some random dude in the dropzone,got some card around the same power,then u realize that the switch only wasted a CB and the random dude has probably 1k to 3k more power......i mean WTS,u wan CB for that?

I suppose you haven't played Granblue much? It's ok not to understand but you don't have to be so dismissive or derisive about it.
If you've played enough Vanguard, you might realise that even small changes in Power can be game-breaking. So your comment on "1k to 3k more power" can be answered in that way.
Your "WTS, u wan CB for that?" suggests that CB could be used for other things. Well, what else is it commonly used for exactly? Ultimately, all abilities are meant to help you execute your strategy better, and it's arguable that the heart of Vanguard fighting is being able to hit magic numbers like 10k, 15k, 16k, 20k, 21k, 23k etc. without losing hand advantage. So while other clans can achieve this using other effects, Granblue does it by creating more consistency and recyclability from the Drop Zone.
Which brings me to the next point, your comment on "practical usage" and "random dude". I don't know how much thought you have exercised on your own question but you obviously do not simply switch out whenever and whatever. As mentioned earlier, you need to do what is necessary to hit magic numbers, as well as other concerns like your defense next turn and having enough units to attack this turn.
Case in point - if you know Granblue well (and I am assuming you do not), this Undead Dragon is probably the most consistent and reliable way for Granblue to hit 20k + in Power. You can switch out junk G2s or G3s you don't need for him. You can even use him if your VG is G2. For other cards like Nightmist, you can replace G3s with him if the boosted attack is good enough, so that you swap a G3 for a G2 with intercept, increasing your defensive capabilities even if you didn't draw into another G2 on your turn.
I got a little carried away trying to reply to you but well, you really should learn to express yourself in a more constructive way.

I got this from a "Random luck" draw. Otherwise you would have to have been top 3 to get the promo pack. EVERYONE Had the King Seahorse from their promo packs, and I got (while getting the random prize even though I was 8th/16th pleace) got the only GOOD card out of the pack... I pryed thanks to god after getting this card after being bullshitted outta so many wins.
Does anyone have any idea how much this card costs? I am thinking of adding two of these into my deck, so I only need one more for my GranBlue deck if I decide to make one?

Well, considering I have THIS card in my deckbox, and that I live in Arizona, and got a Promo pack this Saterday, then yes, it has been released outside of Singapore
D: how much is this worth though?

It was around $25-30. The price may go down as the promo packs become more available.
Time to pester my local store into contacting Bushiroad to get the packs.

$25 - $30 for 1 ?? Serious ? That's how much I paid for my Dragonic Overlord SP! I got 4 of these and I spent total of 10 bucks o.O
Yeah ours was random too. Most of us pulled either Lucan or Skull Dragon.

@Ghunter - You Singaporean too ah? Check Bushiroad's English FB page, they announced all the shops holding tourneys for this month. While I don't recall seeing specific mention of the Promo cards, my guess is every shop should be giving promos for each weekly tourney, and this applies to all card shop tourneys around the world this month.

This card, as well as King Seahorse, were apparently released as promo cards in English. I have no idea how you get those promos though and if anybody has any info on that, it'd be greatly appreciated.

Apparently it was given out in English cardfight vol 1 for participating in a tourney. This and two other cards, king seahorse and , lewcan from the gold paladin clan.

I'm really hoping Bushiroad will send it to some stores overseas for prize support. They sent the Promo Blaster Blade, so here's hoping. These are the first English promos that are actually good.

Actually, if anything, this card is MORE useful. Most of the new rear guard G3's can only swing for 20K with an 8K behind them. This can swing for 21. Plus with the new G2's that can revive through soul blast, that gives you more things to sacrifice to bring this guy back.

Plus Deadly Spirit makes this thing easier than ever to summon, what with not having to use a Counterblast to call Nightmist. That gives you 6 uses as opposed to the normal 3.

No matter how they revive you'll run out of monsters if you keep swinging with this thing. Coctycus gives enough pressure 15k power so he can swing for more then this card. If i want to break 20k. So how do you use this zombie dragon Effectively or when would you use it because i don't really know how to use this card to its fullest.
Any Tips or strategies with this card will be very much appreciated

Evil Shade only works when it boosts a Vanguard. It can't help your Rearguards to hit over 20K.

In responce to Nightmare's comment, Cotylus only functions in the VG position , whereas Skull Dragon functions in the RG.
Depending on how well you mill, you can get Skull Dragon out while you're Vanguard is still Grade 2 or even Grade 1 on some occasions, depending on how many Night Kids you run.
One of the more interesting pluses this has going for it is calling itself into the Rearguard rather than the Vanguard Circle, so it doesn't override the Cotylus in your VG.
Also, as Sol Kage pointed out, this card is a sweet attacker when boosted, reaching the magic 21K when boosted by a 8K unit.

No, for 2 reasons. First, it doesn't retire itself until the end phase, and second, you can only call it from the drop zone during the main phase.

Looking at the effect and how you require a grade 2 or higher Granblue to be sacrificed, does that mean that this card can effectively come out as a rearguard while you have a Grade 2 Vanguard?

hmm, 13k attack power for an cb(1) and grade2+ sacrifice, not too bad ^^

Plus it has great synergy with nightmist, do a cb(1) and trash a random grade 1 or 0 on the feild, then tribute it and do a cb(1) for this card, Necagamoro makes an eccelent sacrifice for this card, now I really want to play a grandblue deck.

you don't or you have to get lucky with heal triggers, Necagamaro and buskirk are the main counterblast units (monster Frank is as well in some builds) However buskirk is very hard to use as most fights don't last long enough for him to soulcharge enough, that's why exceed is so important. Besides my combo uses 2 cardsin the damage zone and gives you a grade 3 without using any hand at all calling a grade 2. Just a suggestion nothing more
