My guess, along with a lot of other people, is that Ultra Rare is getting an Extra Booster. I think it will follow AL4's booster because Ultra Rare was pretty close to the Ren arc in the original anime. If there's a trial deck for Ultra Rare, Kourin will probably get it for Gold Paladin. Looking at the clans we have left without a booster, only a few clans could even justify a trial deck.

Genesis and Great Nature, from what I understand, aren't even in the manga and they weren't very high profile in the anime either. Nubatama, while being Kyou's clan in the manga, got remodeled as Murakumo in the orginal series. Nuba proper wasn't very "trial deck centric" until G. Mr Mark played them in the original anime, but he wasn't prominent. He may have a stronger place in the reboot with the CF Research Club, but it remains to be seen if he'll be "trial deck worthy" this time either. Bermuda, like Nuba, got its first trial deck toward the end of G, but overall BT has always been an annual solo act virtually apart from the rest of the game. With a spin-off idol anime coming, there's no way to know what could happen to the mermaids. Last but not least, Gear Chronicle will likely get revamped so much that I believe they'll get a trial deck in V just to push their new style. They probably won't show up until at least Season 2, and I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't paired with Link Joker just from the way the last series ended.

In the event every clan gets support before any clan comes back around, Genesis, Nubatama, and Great Nature could make up a "tournament pals" set a lot like the Destructive Roar set while Gear, Link, and Narukami could get their own extra booster, but I could also see them mixed in with other clans in the second round the way Aqua and Gold didn't enter until Season 2 originally. It depends on how Bushi treats V Season 2. Does Blaster Blade get locked away? Will Liberator even be a thing in the reboot?

Without putting Bermuda in a main booster with Narukami, Gear, and Link or Nubatama, Great Nature, and Genesis - or however the sets are going to break down. I don't see them putting Bermuda into the cycle at all. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", right?

If each clan gets support before any clan comes back, we'll have 4 extra boosters left (Ultra Rare, "tournament pals", Bermuda, and Naru/GC/LJ) and I see 3 of them getting trial deck: Gold Paladin, Bermuda, and Gear Chronicle.

I think Narukami and Link Joker could make arguments for trial decks, but it'll depends on what their gift markers are. As it stands right now, we have 3 Force TDs and 1 Accel TD on the schedule. It seems like Force is built in a way to justify buying trial decks at least for new players to pick up a deck with an extra 1k on Grade 2s and 3s. The scales aren't tipped either way on attack or defense. It's a pretty solid market strategy if that's what they're going for, but I believe they may want the markers spread out more among TDs or they wouldn't be breaking things down the way they have been within each box. Personally, I would rather see all three markers represented in the trial decks rather than seeing a bunch of Force.

There should be at least 1 Protect trial deck, and I think that clan will be Bermuda or Link Joker - assuming at least one of those clans is Protect. While I could see them as Force, I'm leaning toward Link Joker as Protect because Nova has taken Accel and D Police are Force, so that would balance Star Gate. I think Bushiroad is balancing the clans within each nation just as much as they are trying to balance the boxes and the trial decks through release scheduling, at least as far as Gift Markers are concerned.

By the time AL4 hits shelves, Standard will have a Force-leaning first set, 2 balanced extra boosters with 1 of each marker, and an Accel-leaning 2nd set. Overall, we're going to have 5 Force, 5 Accel, and 4 Protect making up the 4 booster sets with 3 Force and 1 Accel making up the 4 Trial Decks.

Of the frontrunners for trial decks, I see Gold Paladin between Force and Accel depeding on how much they top-deck, and I'm leaning toward Accel just to make sure United Sanctuary gets an Accel clan. Bermuda will either be Force or Protect, and I'm leaning toward Force for them because Granblue is already Protect. Gear Chronicle will likely be Force because like Bermuda, I think V Series Gear Chronicle is going to need to be well-rounded. While they could go Force, Narukami serves better as Accel alongside Tachi and Murakumo because Dragon Empire as a whole seems pretty aggressive these days, and, as described above, Link Joker will likely be Protect.

With that said, I see Gold taking the second Accel TD (5th TD overall) to try to catch Accel up to Force a bit to mirror the booster sets. Then Trial Deck 6 or 7 can go to Gear Chronicle or Link Joker - maybe both if they want to double up like Royal and Kagero did. I would give Trial Deck 8 or 7 or 6 (depending on where it pops into the schedule) to Bermuda Triangle.

The actual placement of Bermuda in the release schedule isn't too important because they basically don't even matter anymore anyway. They've got their own tournament. They're getting their own show. With as many subclans as they had at the end of G, they pretty much have their own meta and they could arguably become their own game as a self-sufficient clanaltogether, but as always - only time will tell... There's so much going on and it's so difficult to predict, but it's so much fun to think about! I'm looking forward to seeing it all come together, but for now I'm curious to see what is said in the comments on this post. I may dig deeper into my projections on the undeclared Imaginary Gifts later, provided Bushi doesn't give us anything before I get the chance to officially predict.

Thanks for following my thoughts. If this blog post isn't formatted right or I violated any part of the website's code, please help me out here. I'm still learning this Wiki and all its rules. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Until next time, see ya in the comments.
